Dreams and Visions

What happens when one prays? Lives, thinking, living is transformed. Our God operates superior to the natural and prayer brings His reality into ours.

The Dream has been renewed in a most wonderful way. As i read the stories of Moses, David, and Daniel i began to see how a redeemed man lives when he knows God. These men, though they had their failures, knew God in a way in which he was unknowable in the Old Testament, they saw the reconciliation that was to come because they knew God, and out of this intimate heart knowledge of the LORD they were uncompromising in being set apart from the world.

I am now officially in Nashville, TN. It is amazing i have met some awesome people and got re-aquatinted with people i already knew. I cannot wait to see what God is going to do, there is a stirring in my heart, it is ready to overflow, all i want to do is worship Him and talk to these amazing people I have met and hear what God says to them.

There is something beautiful about real community and real people who want to know the people around them, to really know them, not just on the surface. In a real community where we don't separate ourselves into classes of people, even paul said there is now no longer even male or female, for God wants us all together. So i have become just as desperate to know my brothers and sisters as i am to know God. To share the vision and the prophecy that a generation has in there hearts and is dying to unleash on the world and see the Joy of the LORD be our strength, to see people set free on the corners of downtown, to see lives redeemed in the halls of intellectuals, to see those the world has said are unlovely in their true beauty.

We will become a Priesthood of all believers. "you will be for me a kingdom of Priests and a Holy nation" (Ex 19:6)

The Dream

It's time to live like we actually believe Jesus is who He says He is. It's time to believe that when God makes promises He is actually going to keep them and show up to fulfill them. This is how you will know Jesus is among you: "The Blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who were unclean are cured, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good new is preached to the poor." Let's start Dreaming with God, let's dream together.

I have a dream. A dream that if we all would choose to dream together we would have to rely on God for everything. A Dream that would rest in experiencing Jesus. Living only in His promises and nothing else. Trusting Him for it all. Trusting the body of all believers that Jesus so affectionately called the church. A Dream that would require Acts 2:43-47 and Acts 4:32-35 to be real.

Will you dream with me?

At This point the Dream is still just a dream, but i am determined, by the grace of God, that this dream will become our reality. It's time to go back to the garden, to rest in the Love of our Jesus.

Here are some specifics as to what this dream would look like:

I am moving to Nashville TN, This is the place where this dream will take place.

We will purchase land (I am not sure how much land at this point)

On this Land we will build a building that would be used for worship and prayer

A Building to house up to 10 permanent resident families, A large kitchen and dining area

Housing for up to 15 people temporarily, for the Homeless, those without, Single moms, dads, anyone who needs.

The rest of the land will be used for cultivating and growing as much of our own food as possible.

Obviously this is a huge undertaking that will need so much support, this is where you come in.

Here are some practical obstacles and facts this dream faces:

Tennessee real estate...i have no idea how much it costs, but in order for this dream to be possible we will need it which means we will need financial support

People who are willing to share in this lifestyle. Partners. Dreamers.

Wood, lots of it. Also lots of people to help build (no we are not hiring contractors this place is for the body of christ, so it will be built by his body) If you know where to get wood for cheap (Or free!) let us know.

I'm sure there is a lot of legal mumbo jumbo that the state will want us to do. anyone who might know what any of this would be helpful as well.

This semester has not ended yet, But we will continue dreaming. This blog is defiantly written early. Please, if I have sent this to you, or if you have found it on accident or through a friend, pray. Pray for these resources, Pray for me (Steve Graham) Pray for this dream, that it would be everything God wants it to be, that it would glorify Him only.
